Guinness Steak Marinade

1 bottle Guinness Extra Stout
2 heavy pinches of salt
1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
Mix everything together in a plastic bag, throw 2 steaks in, squeeze as much air as you can out, and stash in the fridge for 24 hours, turning it over occasionally. Then grill the steaks as you normally would. For those that aren’t fans of Guinness, don’t worry the end result isn’t not that “Guinness-y”. The flavor complements the meat’s natural flavor pretty well. If you have a bottle of Guinness that somehow managed to escape detection in the back of fridge, here’s a good use for it ![]()
